Every dish at Rosemary’s starts with a memory. Founder Carlos Suarez grew up watching his mother, Rosemary, cook with love at the family’s kitchen table, and later found inspiration in his parents’ vegetable garden, or orto, overlooking the hills of Lucca, Italy. That heartfelt, ingredient-driven hospitality is what he brought to the West Village in 2012, complete with a rooftop garden that still supplies fresh herbs and produce to the kitchen today. As Rosemary’s grew to the East Side and Midtown, the mission stayed the same: seasonal cooking and the kind of neighborly hospitality that makes every location feel like home.
